Passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, whom he loved so much.


Dr Thomas Wethavanam Vanniasingham, dearly beloved husband of Dr Gladys Vanniasingham.

Loving father of Dr Peter and Dilo, Paul, James and Rupa, Dr Ruth and Ravi Mills.

Adoring grandfather of Vashti and Nathan, Dr Nilani, Jesuran, Timothy, Tishani and Tamisha.

Great-grandfather of Ava.

Last original member of the Vanniasingham family from Malaysia.


Will also be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends.


Relatives and friends of Thomas are warmly invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held at Eastwood Baptist Church, First Avenue, Eastwood, on Saturday 20 October 2018. The service will commence at 10:00am; please be seated by 9:45am.

Please allow extra time for parking due to the Granny Smith Festival in Eastwood.

The service will be followed by a private burial.

No flowers by request please.
