Doreen Margarette Farrow

Mother of seven children, grandmother of nine and great grandmother of one and another on the way.

Happy, creative, elegant lady, who knew how to live life to the full. Mum lived a prayerful and purposeful life.  An accomplished Nurse, Midwife, and Matron of Aged Care.  Strong, capable and committed.  Mum was our pillar of strength in our family, the centre of our universe.  Ready to entertain, enjoy life, ready to listen to help and console.

Amazing attitude to life.  Enjoyed travelling, holidaying with her children, from beach homes to overseas trips, the cruises and being with her family and friends, especially her weekly catch-ups with her special bingo friends.

Artistic talents extended to cooking different cuisines, cake decorating, painting, flower making, drawing, knitting for the whole family and dear friends, sewing beautiful dresses. Mum loved the piano, crossword puzzles, her iPad and computer games always nearby, even in the hospital. Her cupboards full of lots of different gadgets for cooking those special dishes for the family that filled her days.

Our dearest Mother, we have learnt so much from you, how we will miss you.
